Another tool in my collection. A Stanley #65 with the knuckle joint lever cap. I have boxes of early manufactured tools that haven't seen daylight for over 10yrs.

Neat one, Stewie! Pristine shape as it looks. Can you tell something about the age of the tool?

Hi Klaus. When I received the block plane around 10yrs ago I did a type study to work out its date of manufacture. I cant recall what that date was. I will have to recheck that information and get back to you.
It will take a week to get back to you with the result. I need to organise myself for an interstate flight tomorrow morning to be at my sons engagment party.
